The Secret Chord

Ben Ambridge

Now I’ve heard there was a secret chord // That David played, and it pleased the Lord // But you don’t really care for music, do you? – Hallelujah, Leonard Cohen

The other is the secret chord, which you have almost certainly never heard (both are constructed from pure tones, to strip out the effect of the instrument and the playing style). Which sounds better?
