The world of movies as we knew it changed forever in 1993 when Steven Spielberg released Jurassic Park. 

I’ll never forget the first time I heard the words “Jurassic Park.”

I was in the third grade, and my teacher, Mrs. Smart, I believe, must have read the book and must have heard about it being filmed from an evening news clip. She had just read us a story and proceeded to tell the class about the movie centered around a theme park with dinosaurs.

Collectively, I don’t think we were very bright, or we were all just deaf, because we didn’t hear her say the word “movie.” So we ambushed her with a load of questions like,

With the last season of Fox’s progressive hit series Glee quickly approaching, Glee star Alex Newellis embarking on a new adventure – music.

Obviously, music comes second nature to him, but as a solo artist, Alex is treading new water. The 21-year-old singer/actor recently inked a record deal with Atlantic Records. Now, he’s recording his solo debut album and promoting his new Kanye West-inspired single “Nobody To Love.” 

GlobalGrind sat down with Alex Newell to discuss the last season of Glee, embarking on a new music career, catfishing people who weren’t nice to him, and being an advocate for the transgender community. With the one-year mark of Cory Monteith’s untimely death, we also asked Alex to recall his fondest memory of his fallen co-star.
